Otherwise the majority of the route is flat along the towpaths.

This trip is itinerant from Migennes to Dijon. You are expected the day before your stay in the afternoon in Migennes.

How do I access it?
🚗 By car:
- From Paris: Take the A6 motorway in the direction of Lyon, then exit 19 towards Auxerre-Sud. Then follow the D606 to Migennes.
- From Lyon: Take the A6 in the direction of Paris, then exit at Pouilly-en-Auxois (exit 24). Follow the N6 and D965 to reach Migennes.
- From Dijon: Take the D905 in the direction of Auxerre via the Armançon Valley.
🚅 By train:
- From Paris: TER direct from Paris Gare de Lyon to Migennes (~1h30).
- From Lyon: TGV to Dijon, then TER connection to Laroche-Migennes (~ 3 hours).
- From Dijon: TER direct to Migennes in about 1 hour.
At the end of your stay, to return to the starting point, you can take a direct TER train to Migennes from Dijon which takes about 1 hour.

What clothes should you wear for a leisure cycling trip? Do I need to provide hot and cold weather?
Good question! Although we still hope that the weather is perfect for your stays (not too hot, not too cold, big blue skies, the dream!) , it's the only thing we can't predict!
The list of clothes to bring will obviously depend on the season, the destination and the altitude at which you will be confronted.
However, we recommend that you always bring clothing that can withstand the following conditions: rain, heat and cold, to avoid any eventuality.
The multi-layer system inspired by hiking is the most recommended:
- T-shirts or jerseys made of breathable material to wick away perspiration
- Long-sleeved T-shirt or lightweight jacket or fleece (useful even in summer when temperatures drop at night and at altitude)
- Waterproof jacket (Goretex type) to protect from wind and rain.
For the bottom, bring shorts and pants, which are even more comfortable when they are padded.
In order to protect yourself from the sun, it is essential to have a cap or hat, sunglasses and sunscreen!
